All projects require the use of machinery, whether it be an excavator, telehandler, dumper, or trailer. There are many manufacturers available such as; Komatsu, Kubota, CAT and Hitachi. Please take a look below at the types of machinery that may be used to assist a project:
- Mini excavators- An excavator is a heavy construction equipment, it consists of a boom, dipper, bucket and a cab. The base in a rotating platform, known as the “house”. The house sits above the undercarriage with the tracks/wheels. An excavator may be used for the digging of holes and trenches, drilling shafts for footings or even for the removal of snow (when the snowplow is attached) Excavators can operate in the tightest of spaces.Excavators range from 0.9t to 6t minis, plus 8t and 9t midis, giving you the choice you need whatever the job. Some mini excavators available to you; Kubota K008-3, Caterpillar 305 E, Hitachi ZX29 U- 3, Kubota KX57- 4
- Forklift trucks- A forklift truck, also commonly known as fork hoists, fork truck and lift truck is a powered truck used for lifting. A forklift truck is ideal for raising and moving materials, for short distances. Forklift trucks come in many load capabilities and variations. Forklift trucks that may best assist you with a project are; JCB 520- 40, Manitou MT625, JCB 535-140, JCB 527-55
- Telehandlers- Telehandlers are also known as teleporters, telescopic handler or boom lift. Telehandlers are similar to a forklift, only with a boom (a telescopic cylinder). When working with a telehandler, the operator may need to add an attachment to complete the job, such as a bucket, pallet fork, or a winch. Telehandlers have the abilities to remove cargo that is in a pallet, from within a trailer and place high up. The Manitou MRT3255 telehandler may be what you need for your project.
- Dumper truck- A dumper is a machine that is designed for carrying bulky materials, usually within a building site. A dumper is normally an open 4 wheeled vehicle with the skip situated in front of the driver. The skip has the ability to tip to dump the load. Dumpers are normally powered by diesel. Maybe you require the use of the Terex PT3000, or Ausa D1000 APG to complete the job your working on.
